Reminisce Take my necklace off your neck if it just won't speak for you.
It was a long ride back from East Coast Park. I took 197 all the way back to Jurong East Int. Total time taken: 2+hours.
Passed by a lot of familiar places, and what more the playlist that is playing in my iPod are Slow Songs. But too bad, i've ditched emo. None of them were able to move me.
Passed by the Indian temple that W26K went to during the Racial Harmony Day. Only for that moment, I remembered the time me, Fadyle and Chetan switched buses because we were the only W26K peeps in the bus and the rest were in the other buses.
I also passed by the 'ancient surburbs.' As what I would call it the last time me and my sec school friends were on our way home and we took the same bus back. I remembered the phrase "Foraging through the ancient surburbs." which I put as my personal nick on MSN. The bus passed through town, Kallang, Buona Vista, Clementi... and the list goes on.
I did not sleep throughout the whole journey, and it was like the first in a long time. Slow songs are like lullabies, they rock me gently to sleep. Hah, but I only closed my eyes for a minutes. I was awake soon after.
And then home I reached.
A feeling of nostalgia.
I'm staring at the necklace. Puzzling.
My my, holding up on someone with high expectations only to find out that in the end they're not really what they had in mind.
Woops, I need to keep my balance ALL the time. People seem to like to trip and make me fall.
Who cares.
